Summer Camping Opportunities

Offered by the Division of Outdoor Ministries of the Ohio Conference of the United Church of Christ, Templed Hills and Pilgrim Hills camp grounds are located in Bellville, Ohio and BrinkHaven, Ohio respectively.

Our Missions and Vision

The Division for Outdoor Ministries of the Ohio Conference UCC is committed to the development and maintenance of places and programs for people to get away, live together, and explore the appropriate responses to God's call.

The goals of the Outdoor Ministries are :

1. Get to know God.
2. Get to know self.
3. Get to know others:
a. become better friends
b. become a good community
c. solve problems without fighting
4. Learn about, understand, and respect nature.
5. Camp should involve the local church.
6. Campers should learn to help take care of themselves, nature and others.
7. Camp should be fun and easy to understand.
8. At camp we should learn, work, worship, and have fun.

Discounts are available.

1. Family Discounts
Three or more registrations from the same family, when mailed in the same envelope, each earns a 10% discount for the family. The adult retreats cannot be counted towards the discount.
2. Early Registration Rates and Dates
Three registration reates are shown for each camp.
- Registrations postmarked through March 31 pay the lowest rate. Understand that registration by this date does not guarantee that space is available.
- Registration postmarked April 1 through May 15 pay the middle rate.
- Registrations postmarked after May 15 pay the highest rate.

Camping Brochures with camping opportunities for all ages as well as application forms are available in our church office.
